What kind of USB external enclosure for a Barracuda ATA IV Hard Drive? - usb external hard drive enclosure
Old hard drive on a Dell laptop, the mother is dead, I would like to access information from my laptop. This is a 40-GB model # ST340016A Barracuda ATA IV.
I see all the different types of boxes with hard drive and want to make sure I get one that works.

Who Supports IDE / EIDE / PATA.
Its really not that difficult to find matches, which would, if done one of those IDE / EIDE / PATA. If there is anything they can call their customer service and Dell's just a matter of general knowledge or by e-mail and instant messaging pretty sure that it give the same answer. Hope this helps
